What is a Safe boost level to run?? Answer: 0.8 to 0.9Bar is generally accepted as safe on a totally stock set up. With an uprated fuel pump/new plugs and maybe a fuel controller about 1-1.2bar is ok (A front mount is highly recommended for about 1bar and above and an uprated clutch is pretty much a must at this point) With stock internals still around 1.4 Bar can be run, but it must be mapped spot on to safe guard your engine. Please Note: The life of the standard turbo will also reduce the more you increase boost - Over about 1.0
So you are saying that i can run 20Ib of boost on stock internals? The pulsar is such an amazing car
Yes when treated with respect she is quite the impressive machine.
