Hello, car will not start after replacing the clutch. I have engine codes 11, 12, 21, 34. Car will crank but no start. Codes will not clear for ecu. Any help would be appreciated.
Remove your distributor and check behind the seal under the rotor to check if there's oil on the CAS disk. That would ruin the hall sensor inside and prevent it to read the holes on the CAS disk.
I've tested voltage, ground, and signal at the mass air flow sensor. 12v power, ground, .5v signal
Code 11 : crank angle sensor
Code 12 : mass airflow sensor
Code 21 : no ignition reference
Code 34 : knock sensor
Did something sparked because you forgot to unplug the battery ? Might be a fried ecu
Battery was the first thing removed. no way you can work on anything else with that in there. i also checked maf power at ecu and 12v there
Thanks for your reply Erik. i would like to know the issue for a fact before i throw stuff at it...

It would still start if the maf is bad but engine would run poorly. Knock sensor wouldn't prevent it to start either
Ok thanks that was the next step!
