Hi all,
I picked up my pulsar off an old friend this summer. It was originally going to be a winter car, but the more I drove it and read about it, the more I loved it. So now it will be a summer and track day car only. This site has been crucial so far so figured I should post up.
My other baby:

It has an engine not available here so it's always been fun sourcing parts. The pulsar is a whole new ball game though.
Once in my garage and the snow was flying I went about stripping out most of the interior and relocating the battery and washer bottle.

It had been in a crash so off came the front end to start prepping for paint. (Hood, bumper and left fender are black)

That's basically what's going on. I have all new front end parts for all the replacement stuff (ball joints, whiteline castor correction etc) and it already has the align and lock kit on the back. Hoping to get coilovers during the summer. Next year I'm hoping to build a rotisserie and totally strip the car down, and fix a few rust spots and go all new bushings etc. These cars are definitely a labour of love. Questions, comments, concerns, just post em up!
Welcome to the world of GTi-Rs!
Looks like you've got some good relevant experience with silly RHD Japanese vehicles. You'll have fun with this example!
Nice work with the relocation to the trunk, good looking fab work too. Really helps with weight distribution and is essential if you want to fit up a FMIC.
The Whiteline Anti-Lift Kit for caster correction is excellent, really helps the front end feel planted. Even lets you run some toe out to get quicker turn-in.
What kind of damage to the front end? Just external pieces? How's the frame rail?
Finally have a GTI-R! :D
I have had a lot of red drive experience, more time spent driving there than on the right. The car was professionally pulled and checked for straightness after the accident. It was several years ago.
Err.... rhd and more time there than on the left side. Damn phone
