Hi guys,
My name is David, I'm recently came into ownership of a Pulsar GTI-R and have been stocking up on all additional knowledge to go along with this car..I recently let got of my manual swapped Is300 in favour of the pulsar cause it just happened to be a dream car from my childhood. The car I have is in a rough shape but manageable. car body is currently stripped to be sent to have a respray done. the fuel pump has gone bonkers so that will be replaced.. the engine seems to turn over and run strong... this will be a long term project ending in a confortable daily and weekend track car. right now though i am in the process of cleaning the sludge out the tank...
when i get a chance i will upload some pics.
Hey welcome to the forum! Definitely post up some pics when you get a chance. I bought my first Pulsar from TO. I had to get it towed back to Peterborough because the license office had closed for the day so I told CAA that it broke down lol. Did you get a chance to properly drive your Pulsar before it got stripped? How did you find out about the Pulsar when you were a kid?
Hi Benno, pleasure to meet you. I haven't had a chance to take the pulsar out for a drive, a few kinks need to be ironed out before that can happen. I've been reading up on brake upgrades and boy is it confusing..lol.. I grew up in the caribbean and these cars are very common. Barbados is a country steeped in motorsports and car culture. I had a good friend whose first car was a pulsar. My uncle also had one which was heavy modified but his recklessness was the end of the car... Evos and skylines are everyday cars back in the islands... i moved here and started searching and by luck this car fell into my hands...
