Hello,
Does anyone know if it's possible to buy replacement rubber engine mount bushings? I know that I can buy a whole new engine mount from Nissan for $100, but I would like to buy an $11 replacement rubber (not poly) bushing and press it in myself if possible. I'm looking for the RH mount specifically.
Why not aftermarket ? Replacing that mount alone won't be very noticible interms of drivability , even make one your self

This is an older thread, but part way down it says you can stuff B13 into the OEM mounts. He used Prothane, but I imagine the size is close for the rubber ones.
Not to jack your thread, but I was wondering what people would suggest between the NISMO buffer rods vs. poly inserts for the front and rear stabilizer mounts. Also, can anyone tell me if they are the same mount part number for front and rear? And, if poly is the way to go, where can one find them?
I don't know where to find the buffer rods bushings. Never got to change them.
Also I bought my engine mounts bushings from Powerflex UK a few years ago.

Prothane engine mount inserts for GTi-R
I've bought and installed the prothane engine mounts for my GTI-R they work great. However I will say that there are a few issues with the kit. 1st off the front and rear torque mounts needed modifying because they were too big and simply the wrong shape. A belt sander and a grinder made short order of these issues. 2nd the steel tubes that go through the mounts were too short. And the mounts were too narrow to fit snugly into the housings that they bolt into. Washers and small cuts of tubing fixed these issues. I will be honest and say that initially the car was almost unbearably noisy when idling with the window up. Not nearly as bad when they were down. However after a few weeks of daily driving the mounts seemed to work in a bit and most of this disappeared. Even at -30C it wasn't much worse than stock.
Some pictures I took for someone else looking to buy them.
I noticed some of these issues myself, but my steel tubes seemed to be long enough. i did however use the Nismo buffer rod instead of the prothane bushings.
Hey Guys,
Can anyone tell me if the front and rear stabilizer rods are the same? Or if they are interchangeable? I want to pick up a Nismo buffer rod for the front, but if they are the same, I'll just get 2 and change the rear out while I'm at it. Thanks y'all.

Yes, they are identical front to back.
